SearchAdNetwork Scores BMA Gold Key Award
Colorado’s most highly acclaimed marketing competition a cinch for SearchAdNetwork

DENVER, CO – May 12, 2007 – Colorado’s Business Marketing Association scouted hundreds of contestants in numerous categories to determine the region’s marketing MVPs. They witnessed rookies and veterans alike, and after tediously weighing each contestant’s stats, determined Colorado’s marketing all stars. SearchAdNetwork was singled out as one such all star. Along with 24 other players, SearchAdNetwork was recruited to attend the Gold Key Award Banquet at Invesco Field at Mile High for an exciting night of stimulating entertainment, upscale cuisine, exalted commemoration and priceless networking.

"Polygon mapping is so new and rarely used, it took a lot of testing and tweaking. But the campaign was a success and we glad to have helped pave the way for others to use this feature."

The Gold Key Award was presented to SearchAdNetwork in honor of their unique and successful search marketing campaign for WildBlue Communications, a satellite provider of high-speed Internet service. Due to the nature of WildBlue’s service, SearchAdNetwork was charged with the task of targeting only rural areas with low population densities. Normal search marketing parameters do not allow for optimal and precise targeting. SearchAdNetwork turned to Google’s innovative polygon mapping, an as-yet rarely-used feature that allows advertisers to plot points on a map and only show ads to Internet users within those areas. SearchAdNetwork also recommended that WildBlue design unique landing pages to reflect the disposition of their rural customer base.

Colorado’s BMA Gold Key Bowl XXII was held on Friday, May 11, 2007 at Invesco Field at Mile High in Denver, CO. The black tie optional event was attended by winners, judges, BMA representatives and a grandstand full of Colorado’s marketing elite. With the campaign creative as a backdrop, Porter and WildBlue Online Content Manager Thomas Gallagher scaled the stage to receive this acclaimed accolade.
